How to Make Domestic Violence Furniture Donations
We accept furniture that is in good condition and meets our safety and hygiene standards. However, while we appreciate all furniture donations, we will not take any furniture stained, torn, broken, or infested with pests.
Donating furniture to DV Sunrise is easy and convenient. To donate furniture to DV Sunrise, please follow these steps:
- Fill out our online donation form with your contact information and a description of the furniture you want to donate.
- We will contact you within 24 hours to confirm your donation and schedule a pickup or drop-off time.
- Prepare your furniture for donation by cleaning it and removing any personal items.
- If you are dropping off your furniture, please bring it to the address that will be indicated in our reply.
- If you are requesting a pickup service, please ensure your furniture is accessible and ready for loading when our truck arrives.
- Receive a tax receipt for your donation and a thank you letter from DV Sunrise.
